Dacor's cold storage, cooking and dish care lineup is documented through Samsung's own manual library now that the brand sits inside Samsung's ownership, and its manuals name the same setup messages a first-week install commonly meets: a dish care unit with no water reaching the inlet valve, a drain check tied to a clogged or folded hose, a deliberate cooling-off mode on a new column. A Dacor install is finished when the water, drain and mode settings match what those manuals ask for. We take on Dacor cold storage, cooking and dish care installs; Dacor does not sell a laundry line in the US. ### The dish care water and drain checks are two separate codes Dacor's installation and user manual documents a water-supply check and a drain check as two distinct messages, each pointing at a different connection to verify rather than at a single generic failure. ### A column can be switched to a deliberate cooling-off mode Dacor's column refrigeration manual documents a mode that stops cooling on purpose, useful for a showroom or an extended vacancy, entered and cleared with the same button hold and confirmed on the display. ### Sabbath mode is entered differently by category Dacor's beverage and wine columns and its larger refrigeration columns each document their own button combination for Sabbath mode, so the sequence an installer learns on one Dacor piece will not carry over exactly to the next. ### Built under Samsung's manual library Dacor's current manuals are hosted and formatted through Samsung's own documentation system, which is worth knowing when searching for a specific model's installation instructions. Parts Dacor specifies its water inlet and drain fittings, anti-tip hardware and column trim by model in its own manuals, now published through Samsung's documentation system. Repair or replace The Dacor messages that show up in a unit's first days are almost all tied to a water, drain or mode setting rather than a part, so the visit is usually finished once that connection or setting is corrected. Dacor's own installation manual ties this message to the supply valve being closed, the water supply itself being suspended, or the inlet valve or line being frozen or clogged with debris left from installation. Opening the valve and clearing the line resolves most first-week cases. ### The display on my new Dacor cold storage column shows it is not cooling — is that a failure? Check whether the display is showing a deliberate cooling-off setting before assuming a failure. Dacor documents this mode for showroom display or an extended vacancy, and it is entered and cleared with the same button combination. ### Is the Sabbath mode button combination the same on every Dacor cold storage piece? No. Dacor documents a different button combination for a beverage or wine column than it does for a larger refrigeration column, so the sequence has to be checked against that specific model's manual rather than assumed from another Dacor piece. --- **[Read on the site: Dacor Appliance Installation | ApplianceInstallation.center](https://applianceinstallation.center/brands/dacor/)** **[Book a visit with ApplianceInstallation.center](https://applianceinstallation.center/schedule/)**
