Fulgor Milano's US catalog covers ranges, cooktops, wall ovens and hoods alongside a smaller refrigeration line of wine columns and built-in coffee machines, and the wine column's own manual carries a Sabbath Mode built specifically so the thermostat and lighting are not affected by the door being opened, a detail that matters the first time the column is loaded and closed for observance. Fulgor Milano's US range for this site covers ranges, cooktops, wall ovens and hoods, plus a refrigeration line of wine columns, with built-in coffee machines documented in the same manual library and treated under the cooking group here. ### A hood's mounting height is capped, not just floored Fulgor Milano's hood installation guide sets a recommended range for the distance between the cooking surface and the hood bottom, and warns that mounting above roughly 35 inches makes the hood harder to reach and lets performance and efficiency degrade, not just that mounting too low is a fire risk. ### Sabbath Mode is a wine-column feature, not a workaround The wine column's manual describes Sabbath Mode as letting the thermostatic control, interior lighting and ice maker keep running without reacting to the door opening or closing, built for religious observance rather than for troubleshooting a door switch. ### A first start-up can look like nothing is happening The wine column manual notes that if the display does not show its expected start-up message, it can mean the unit has already begun cooling on its own, which is worth checking before assuming the control panel failed to register the first power-up. ### The hood manual defers to the cooking appliance's own clearance rules Fulgor Milano's hood instructions say to also check the cooking appliance manufacturer's own height clearance recommendations, and to follow local building and fire codes over either document, which matters when the hood and the range underneath it are not both Fulgor Milano. Parts Fulgor Milano's hood is sold with the recommendation to check the cooking appliance's own clearance guidance rather than relying on the hood manual alone, which matters when the range underneath is a different brand than the hood above it. Repair or replace A Fulgor Milano wine column that never seems to start cooling is worth confirming against the manual's own note that a missing start-up message can mean it already began, rather than assuming the control board did not register power. It keeps the thermostatic control, interior lighting and ice maker running as normal while stopping them from reacting to the door being opened or closed, which the manual ties to religious observance rather than to any cooling problem. ### How high can a Fulgor Milano hood be mounted above the cooking surface? The manual recommends staying within its stated range and specifically warns against mounting above about 35 inches, since a hood mounted higher becomes harder to reach and loses performance and efficiency even though it is not a safety violation on its own. ### A new Fulgor Milano wine column display shows nothing at start-up, is that normal? The manual notes that a missing start-up message can mean the appliance has already begun its cooling process rather than that the panel failed to power on, so it is worth checking the interior temperature before assuming a problem. --- **[Read on the site: Fulgor Milano Appliance Installation](https://applianceinstallation.center/brands/fulgor-milano/)** **[Book a visit with ApplianceInstallation.center](https://applianceinstallation.center/schedule/)**
