Fulgor Milano's own wine column manual describes the function as letting the appliance comply with religious observances that require its operation not be affected by the doors, deactivating only the thermostatic control's reaction to the door, the inner lighting response and the ice maker's door-triggered behavior. Fulgor Milano appliance display What to do when Sabbath Mode shows on the appliance ### Kind of code Setup modes, not failures Nothing is wrong with the new appliance; it has come out of the carton in a state the store or the factory left it in. A showroom or demo mode lights the display and the fans while the unit never cools or heats, a Sabbath setting holds the oven light and hides the controls, a control or shipping lock refuses every key, and some laundry and dish care machines ask for a first calibration cycle before normal use. The manual gives the key sequence that turns each one off; once it is off, the appliance runs as it should. ### Usually leads to No installation Confirm which mode is active on the display before assuming a problem: Sabbath Mode reads differently from a normal error indicator. ### Shows up as Appliance Installation Code on a New Unit: Setup Modes and Hookup Messages An appliance installation code is a message a new unit shows because of how it was set up: a demo mode, a water or drain alert, a vent warning or a power check. ### Make Fulgor Milano Fulgor Milano installs center on Italian pro-style ranges and their hoods, with columns and dishwashers for kitchens built around one maker. ### Source Fulgor Milano F7PBW24S1/F7IBW24O1 wine cellar user manual Confirmed on Fulgor Milano's F7PBW24S1/F7IBW24O1 wine cellar user manual. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Fulgor Milano's own guidance for Sabbath Mode on its appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Confirm which mode is active on the display before assuming a problem: Sabbath Mode reads differently from a normal error indicator. 02 Leave the doors closed as much as possible while the mode is active, since opening them will not trigger the usual lighting or alarm response. 03 Exit Sabbath Mode through the same menu path used to activate it once observance is over. 04 If cooling performance itself changes while the mode is active, book a visit rather than continuing to toggle the setting. ### Cleared? The message has gone from the display, the setting or connection behind it has been corrected, and the new appliance finishes a full first cycle without raising it again. A setup code that comes straight back after the hookup has been checked points to something the install missed, such as a kinked hose or a harness left unplugged, so note it when you book. ### What not to do Sabbath Mode does not stop the column from cooling and is not a sign of a failed door switch; a column that stops cooling while in this mode is a separate problem. ## What you may notice with it. The appliance problem Sabbath Mode tends to arrive with. Answer these at the appliance before anyone is booked. Confirm which mode is active on the display before assuming a problem: Sabbath Mode reads differently from a normal error indicator. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does Sabbath Mode change the temperature inside a Fulgor Milano wine column? No, the manual describes it as changing how the doors are handled, not the thermostat's target temperature, which keeps working toward its set point. ### Will the interior light still come on when the door opens in Sabbath Mode? No, the manual lists the inner lighting as one of the functions deactivated so it does not react to the door, which is the point of the setting for observance. ### How is Sabbath Mode turned off on a Fulgor Milano wine column? It is toggled through the same settings menu used to turn it on, alongside the unit's Reset and other special functions. --- **[Read on the site: Fulgor Milano Sabbath Mode: the wine column ignores its own door](https://applianceinstallation.center/error-codes/fulgor-milano-sabbath-mode/)** **[Book a visit with ApplianceInstallation.center](https://applianceinstallation.center/schedule/)**
