Bellaire was founded in 1908 by William Wright Baldwin, president of the South End Land Company, and may have been named for Bellaire, Ohio, a town served by one of his rail lines. ## What Bellaire does to an appliance. The city was incorporated with a general charter in 1918, a full decade after it was first founded as a development. As its own incorporated city inside the Houston metro, Bellaire runs its own building and permitting process separate from the city of Houston's. [All of Houston](https://applianceinstallation.center/locations/houston/) ### Older housing stock An old kitchen's gas stub, water valve and outlet were placed for appliances of another era, and fitting a new unit there often calls for a longer connector or a moved valve, with any new line or circuit left to a licensed plumber or electrician first. ### Mixed housing A buyer moving into an older house with appliances of mixed ages often replaces them one at a time, and each installation there notes what the next will need, a new circuit, a longer duct or a wider opening, so later work is planned ahead. ### Family houses Growing families often move up to a larger laundry pair or a wider cold storage unit, and an installation there checks that the bigger model clears the doorway and the closet and still reaches the connections that served the old one. ## A visit in Bellaire.
