--- title: "Appliance Installation in Staten Island" description: "Appliance installation across Staten Island, NY — 4 cities and neighborhoods." url: "https://applianceinstallation.center/locations/new-york/staten-island/" --- New York Metro, NY # Appliance installation in Staten Island. 4 cities and neighborhoods across Staten Island, part of New York Metro. ## What New York Metro does to an appliance. Where appliances sit in Staten Island, as across New York Metro: tower living, tight openings and walk-ups, older housing stock. [All of New York Metro](https://applianceinstallation.center/locations/new-york/) ### Tower living Many condo buildings want a certificate of insurance and a written approval before a new laundry pair or a vented machine goes in, so that paperwork is filed with the manager well ahead of the installation date. ### Tight openings and walk-ups A compact laundry closet leaves almost no room behind a stacked pair, so the hoses, the drain and any duct are connected before the machines are pushed back, because nobody can reach behind them once they are in. ### Older housing stock Older houses have narrow doors, tight stair turns and wood floors that give underfoot, so installing a new appliance there starts with the carry: doors lifted off their hinges, the floor covered and a dolly path chosen that spares the old trim. ## Where we go in Staten Island. 4 cities and neighborhoods across Staten Island, part of New York Metro.
