Café SA — Sabbath mode on a cold storage unit
Café's own manuals describe SA as the display shown once Sabbath Mode is active, entered by holding a specific button combination for a few seconds; the exact buttons differ between a beverage/wine column and a French-door cold storage unit, but the letters shown and the general behavior are the same.

What to do when SA shows on the applianceKind of codeSetup modes, not failures
Nothing is wrong with the new appliance; it has come out of the carton in a state the store or the factory left it in. A showroom or demo mode lights the display and the fans while the unit never cools or heats, a Sabbath setting holds the oven light and hides the controls, a control or shipping lock refuses every key, and some laundry and dish care machines ask for a first calibration cycle before normal use. The manual gives the key sequence that turns each one off; once it is off, the appliance runs as it should.
Usually leads toNo installation
Confirm whether the household wants this mode active before assuming the display has frozen.
Shows up asCold Storage Slow to Cool on the First Day
Cold storage slow to cool is a new refrigerator, freezer, wine or beverage unit that still feels warm inside many hours after its installation.

A Café install is often a statement range or a French-door refrigerator whose door handles and finish must line up with the kitchen around it.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Café's own guidance for SA on its appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Confirm whether the household wants this mode active before assuming the display has frozen.
Use the documented button hold for that specific model to exit the mode.
Confirm the interior temperature is holding normally once the mode is cleared, since the unit keeps running while SA is shown.
If SA will not clear with the documented sequence, book a visit rather than repeatedly cycling power to the unit.
Cleared?
The message has gone from the display, the setting or connection behind it has been corrected, and the new appliance finishes a full first cycle without raising it again. A setup code that comes straight back after the hookup has been checked points to something the install missed, such as a kinked hose or a harness left unplugged, so note it when you book.
What not to do
SA does not mean the compressor or the control board has stopped working; the unit is documented to keep operating normally while the mode is active. It is a deliberate setting rather than any kind of failure.
What you may
notice with it.
The appliance problems SA tends to arrive with. Answer these at the appliance before anyone is booked.

A booking moves faster with three things: the message exactly as the display shows it, the model number from the carton or the rating plate, and the moment it first appeared. With those, the office can tell whether it is a setup step or a connection to put right, and send the part that fixes it.
